Early Life[]
Maple was born on the planet Alderaan in a small city surrounded by a snowy forest with large Maple trees, which his parents named him after.
He came from a family of Blacksmiths that would make many things for the galaxy and they were highly respected by all.
He was found to be force sensitive by Knight Kator, whom was browsing his family's store. When he saw Maple lifting some of the ingots in the air, he explained to his parents that their child had a gift. They knew of the Jedi Order, so they decided they would let him go. Kator brought him back to the Jedi Temple that day to begin his journey as a Jedi.
Not much more is known about his years before the Jedi.
Youngling Years[]
During his years as a Youngling he had a great interest in the Jedi Starfighters and Lightsabers, so he learned all he could about the subjects.
When it was his time to participate in the Gathering, he had lots of trouble finding his Kyber crystal. He searched for hours, but never found anything. Then, just as he was about to give up, the floor broke underneath him and he fell into the hole. At the end of the hole, there was a tunnel with a bright light at the end, and he felt inside that this was his crystal calling to him. He found his crystal sprouting out from a chunk of ice and secured it, bringing it back to the entrance.
Once it was time to build his lightsaber, he constructed a hilt unlike anything seen before. At the top of the hilt there were 3 emitters: the main blade emitter, and 2 side emitters that, when ignited, formed an X directly through the main blade. This design was based off the only weapon he remembers his parents making in their forge.
Padawan Years[]
At the Selection ceremony, Knight Varxi saw great potential in Maple, and thus chose him to be his apprentice. Varxi was a Jedi for the 327th Star Corps of the Grand Army of the Republic, and thus brought Maple along to fight as well.
Becoming Artisan[]
Maple was always amazed by Lightsabers, so when he had the opportunity to become a member of the Artisans, a branch of Jedi who makes them, he jumped on it. He crafted many saber hilts, and all were masterpieces. He enjoyed making them for the people of the Temple and was widely regarded and respected for his work, just as his parents were on Alderaan.
Knight Years[]
Upon completing his Trials, he continued to serve in the 327th star corps and took on his own Padawan, a Jedi named Nova.
He heard of an opportunity to join the Lightsaber Instructors, a branch of Jedi who specialize in Lightsaber combat and tactics, and immediately applied and accepted. This, along with his role in the Artisans, was his chance to prove himself in the Order..
Becoming Lead Artisan[]
His countless hours of pure dedication and hard work in making lightsabers was noticed by the Council and they granted him the title of Lead Artisan. He went on to create many more great Lightsaber hilts. In almost no time he had amassed so much knowledge on the Lightsaber he could craft any type of hilt, no matter how crazy the idea may seem. He also found a way, on his own, to modify a hilt to connect to another, forming a Saber-staff.
After some time within the branch, Maple was ultimately removed from the position of Lead Artisan. Some changes with the branch were put into effect and the Council felt he couldn't make the necessary time to foster the changes. He was not sad, nor was he upset. He instead set his focus on honing his skills in Lightsaber combat and work within Lightsaber Instructors.
Master Years[]
Maple reached the rank of Master at the age of 35, and not long after became a Battlelord under the now former Battlemaster Jaelyn. Jaelyn would spend hours helping Maple become a better duelist and learn all the forms known to the Order. Maple would go on to learn as much about dueling from Jaelyn and soon became highly proficient in Saber combat.

After the sad Departure of Jaelyn, Maple was appointed as the new Battlemaster, and currently still holds the title.
