CT-1896 "Tortoise" is the Doom Fist Commander, Former Nexu Company marksman, and Juggernaut, Grenadier qualified Trooper. He was a Veteran of Geonosis, Ryloth, the Battle of Kamino, and Mimban. He is currently the rank of Colonel
Tortoise was born on Kamino 10 years prior to Geonosis, He was a part of one of the first batches of troopers deemed acceptable for frontline combat. He was given his nickname due to his protective and insular nature. He was a part of the assault on Geonosis and saw several of his close brothers fall to CIS battledroids, and this would not be the first loss in his career. A year later, he was assigned to Keeli Company, under the supervision of Clone Captain Keeli, and Jedi Master Ima Gun-Di. He served valiantly with this role, and enjoyed learning about the Twi'Lek culture and the language. Prior to Keeli Companies destruction he was sent away with a detachment to assist in the scouting and preparation of a landing site for Jedi Master Mace Windu's clone detachment. After the destruction of Keeli Company, and the death of his Jedi Master, he was transferred to the Basic Clone Legion and assisted in the defense of Kamino against General Grevious's and Asaaj Ventress's forces. Now he has been transferred to Anaxes, then Monglacia, Then Heimdall GAR Base, serving under Doom's Unit. He has taken up his fallen Captain's markings as a sign of respect and reverence for the leader that took him under his wing, and vows to do right by Keeli by becoming a part of the battalion known for protecting troopers and civilians from the encroaching CIS forces. During a memorable Battle, the CIS forces consistently dropped Napalm on the encroaching Republic forces, and has since developed a slight aversion to incindiary explosives. During a mission where he was serving as a Nexu Marksman, he racked up over 108 kills. During an assault on a Droid factory on Geonosis he was awarded a medal for his medical services. Post Mimban Assault he was awarded the Assault Regimental Commendation Medal for his outstanding medical attention during heavy shelling. He is a skilled surgeon and has earned the nickname of the "Minigun Medic" after defending the General with a minigun after grabbing it from his armor next to him on the floor, after the loss of the former DF CMDR CPT Dax, He took up the mantle.
